Straight bourbon, no ice or very little ice anyway. Posted: Jun 5, 08 7:25pmstraight up is the only way I love whiskey Posted: Jun 5, 08 7:26pmA shot of single malt scotch with a shot of single malt scotch poured on top of that, two cubes and a Hoyo De Monterrey Excalibur for a chaser. Yummy. Posted: Jun 5, 08 7:53pmI love whiskey. Straight up, especially Irish. However, I also like Diet coke, lime and Windsor. This is a good mixed drink. I can suck those things down pretty easily. As a female however, I find that my girlfriends find it rather masculine of me to order whiskey in the midst of their margaritas, long island ice teas and cosmos. What do you all think. Is it not feminine of me? Posted: Jun 5, 08 8:02pmThere was a great article in a magazine about it and the main message was like, if more women turned in their cosmos for bookers, we could break the stubborn notion that this rich, moody drink is just for men. And 6 different whiskey's for different occasion. The only one I remember is Dalmore for sipping with your boss when you made VP. So maybe you are just ahead of a future trend. |
