Vibration - what does this mean to you?

When you search for the meaning of "vibration" - you will find many descriptions/meanings. One that is forefront in personal development, I believe is from 1656 and I quote here:

1656, from L. vibrationem (nom. vibratio), from vibratus (see vibrate). Meaning "intuitive signal about a person or thing".

Putting that explanation with the Law of Attraction it says that whatever vibration you are sending, whether it is a negative or positive thought, the universe will simply respond to your vibration.

You may wonder why you keep attracting the same thing over and over again. You are absolutely positive that those thoughts are not in your mind. For example, you may attract the same kind of person again and again in your life. You are telling yourself that you no longer want that kind of person in your life. But by repeating or thinking that you no longer wish that kind of person, your subconscious does not know the word NO, NOT - all it receives is the description of what you do not want and hence delivers the same!

Instead of thinking what you do not want, think about what you want!! Now, that may seem a simple process but it does take practice. Repetition is the key.

When you vibrate good and positive thoughts, good and positive thoughts will come back to you. When you smile, you will receive a smile back.

Thanks for a clue. I've been divorced for some time now (years),and I have not attracted one person towards me. Now that you've mentioned it maybe I'm sending out some bad,or not real good vibes myself.

Then again maybe I'm not ready for a real relationship and keep people at bay by my own doing.

Just turned 50 and am now re-thinking relationships

and how to start again......

Thanks again for the post...:)
