Here in Up North, Michigan after a long, cold (148 inches of snow) winter we are almost giddy when the weather turns to Spring and things finally start greening up. Those of you who live in warmer climes may not appreciate the warm weather as much as we "northerners" do. And, yes, we do complain when the thermometer hits 80+ because our blood is not used to such warm temperatures. With much anticipation we look forward to the summer season here. There will be many picnics, bonfires, s'mores, etc. I have to say that our favorite summer activity is walking along the beach of Lake Michigan, or just walking outdoors on our Riverwalk. So what is your favorite summer activity??

In Australia it would probably be iced coffee (made free of ice, milk-based, and ice cream scoop on top, or lemonade (roughly similar to Sprite). USA style lemonade, bought in stores as a soda is lemon squash. All beach or picnic items

Visiting my son in Montana. I love the mountains and summer is the only time I can drive high up into them.

Here in Houston we only have two seasons: Summer and mid-January. It's only on that mid-January day that we like to get outside.
