YOU ARE ALL AWESOME. believe that. Posted: May 11, 08 7:10am![]() We may not all have children or may have difficulty going on with them, but that's ok. As we help are babies grow up, they help us maintain our inner child. May we never lose that playfulness. Let's not forget all the dads who are "moms" to their children. Having been neither, I am very well aware that I have no right to express such an opinion, but what the heck? I've said it.. But my life's journey took me to a marriage and two beautiful boys. I was so afraid of being a mom because I had so little good modeling. I was a wreck during my pregnancy and read every book on the market then which were not really a lot like today. But when my Chris was born, that moment when he looked at me in the delivery room, I realized that this baby was going to teach me what LOVE really was about. And he did. When my Ryan was born, his spirit was present and it was amazing that I could love another child as much as my first, but I did. He taught me to not be so serious and that laughter and joy were there for the taking. This little boy helped to heal my spirit and continues to do so. I am very blessed with having taken this path and I am honored to be their MOM. Wishing you all a Happy Mother's Day regardless of who you nurture and love and know how special you all are everyday! ![]() LOVE AND JOY FOR ALL THE GIRLS!! We will be expecting our first grandchild on both sides of the family near Christmas! We are all thrilled but there is concern because she is a type 1 diabetic. Please have good thoughts for Jenny during this time - we know how strong such prayers can be. My heart is just overwhelmingly happy and it's hard to keep from crying, which we were doing at the hotel restaurant. This has been the best Mother's Day Ever!!!! |
