Liberal vs Conservative Where are you and why?

Where am I on this?

Having read every line, I am 100% Liberal.

Why?

Because I am not a Conservative!

One thing I did not see listed was "Freedom of Speech". How would they feel about which side is the real protector of this right.

Like you, WhiteManitou, I find myself picking from both sides of the divide, or sometimes neither of the two choices.

This is not a problem for me!

Owning guns - other than for hunting and members of shooting clubs - is illegal in the UK.

I00% Conservative. The only one I hesitated on was the environment.

Two observations. The explanation writeup for each category/issue did not strike me as unbiased.

The Conservatives should have been on the right side and the liberals on the left.

He's a good Lib Dem (Liberal Democratic Party) to raise a jar or two with as he regales with great stories! To that I can heartily attest! Nice to have four or five parties from which to choose. Streaking past the front page by accident saw THE question.

Heading back to the UK tonight from the Secure Homeland BritScot, lovely Mum's Day. Ended up meeting a couple married 72-years and a punk rock loving Mother Theresa who brings medical supplies around the world to third world hospitals. Stories there and to come on VadimusPost.com.

As for me, if I were any more liberal I'd be socialist. All for doing the right thing and taking care of others than greedily holding on to mine, Mine, MINE !!!

Well, I dance back and forth a bit, too. But I am mostly Liberal. Here's some good lines and my thoughts on them:

True, unfortunately, the Market has no compunction to keep those jobs in their home country. The Chinese are doing great since OUR jobs were shipped overseas.

"Desire clean water, clean air and a clean planet, just like everyone else. However, extreme environmental policies destroy jobs and damage the economy. "

Oh, give me a fuckin' BREAK. That should read "...if having clean air and water doesn't cut into the Holy Bottom Line."

"The rich will continue to pay for superior healthcare, while all others will receive poor-quality free healthcare from the government. "

Should read "...while all others will receive poor-quality, over-priced healthcare from the private-sector HMO industry."

"Guns kill people. Guns kill children. "

Really? I'd like to see a gun jump up and kill somebody all by itself w/o human intervention. Gun Control means being able to hit your target.

I'm kind of Conservative about immigration.

Oh, bullshit. They do the jobs I won't do for $3 an hour under the table.

Why do they hire illegals? because who are they gonna complain to about getting screwed?

This refers to Civil Marriage? The Church can do whatever they want, the Secular world should do the right thing, and neither should tell the other what to do.
