would probably not move to northern nh and have my husband give up a great job at GTE in hillsboro, nh..

But it was the right thing to do at the time. But the company in northern nh was not a good company and lets people go like water..

I have friends that live in PA now, but were originally from Claremont NH. I don't have a map handy at the moment. How far from there are you? They moved to VT for a few years before PA. Both moves were for his job. They love PA lots to do there they say.

To comment on your wish, I would go along with your desire to move like you both did vs stay in a place that you were morally against. Making less is always better than being less. I'm in the same boat for different reasons right now myself. Tomorrow is another day, I tell myself. Think like Scarlett!! Good things happen for good people like you sound. I would be more out going in high school. I was painfully shy and didn't have any friends.

I live near the home of the author of OZ. They just had the annual OZ fest a few weeks ago. Real munchkins still come for it and sign autographs. The town has it's own yellow brick "road" (side walk of yellow bricks, actually).
