If you could go back in time, what age would you be and what would you be doing right now?

I'd go back to age 21, change my major in school, travel and stay single, then marry my husband at age 30, have my same two children of course, but live in Maine instead of vacationing there. My husband would naturally agree to change careers, because industry is bad there. He could open the golf course on our imaginary money for a living and he would be happier too.

would probably not move to northern nh and have my husband give up a great job at GTE in hillsboro, nh..

But it was the right thing to do at the time. But the company in northern nh was not a good company and lets people go like water..

Hi Teacup,

I have friends that live in PA now, but were originally from Claremont NH. I don't have a map handy at the moment. How far from there are you? They moved to VT for a few years before PA. Both moves were for his job. They love PA lots to do there they say.

To comment on your wish, I would go along with your desire to move like you both did vs stay in a place that you were morally against. Making less is always better than being less. I'm in the same boat for different reasons right now myself. Tomorrow is another day, I tell myself. Think like Scarlett!! Good things happen for good people like you sound. Hang in there and keep thinking positively as you can.

I would be more out going in high school. I was painfully shy and didn't have any friends.

That would be 1972, Milwaukee, 15 years old.

Scarecrow-

That's cool. I guess we would all like to know then what we know now!

Are you an OZ fan by the way? Just curious about the picture and screen name?

Yes, I am. Scarecrow was alway my favorite. And I'm also searching for a brain. I thought I had found one but I had to throw it away.

Going to the trash bin.

Scarecrow- Walk this way!

You obviously have very good taste in movies!

I live near the home of the author of OZ. They just had the annual OZ fest a few weeks ago. Real munchkins still come for it and sign autographs. The town has it's own yellow brick "road" (side walk of yellow bricks, actually).
