What is your definition of a very good friend?

I look for someone who I can share a laugh with, have things in common with but also want a friend to be very different from me in some ways, just to keep the friendship interesting and not boring.

I hope my good friend will be as loyal to me as I will be to her or him.

When times get rough I will be there, every time. I want to know that they will be too for me if I ever need them.

If I invest my heart, my time, and efforts and loyalty into someone, I really want the same from them. Give and take. Not just takers. The world is full of those, take my pick!!

On the lighter side, I want a friend that lets me be as ridiculous, silly, outspoken or whatever my heart desires, without fearing rejection.

If I have a stray booger she or he would tell me, if I have toilet paper stuck to my shoe, lipstick smeared onto my face or teeth, animal poop on my shoe, etc without taking me down. Humor counts big time!!

Karen, I think you've nailed it!

I can't think of anything else to add.

I would love to have you as my friend.

We think the same on this subject.
