I am not against cell phones, I just do not feel anything is that important that I have to have one with me at all times. So how long could I go? As long as my children were with me a very long time.....

I have yet to find a reason good enough to get a cell phone, nobody calls me at home so I doubt they will call me while away from there.

I turn my cell phone off ..when I don't use it.

It's my phone. I don't want people using up my prime time minutes. I don't want thier silly pics of thier stupid dog or screaming kid ! I only use on ring tone ..the ones that goes "ring-ring". If I want to skin something, I will go fish'in.

Now the good part is ..I use "other peoples prime time minutes" as my nite & wknd starts at 7PM and I get that for 'no charge" under my 200 minute $29.95/mo plan. And thats how I get my 4 to 5 hundred minutes per month so damn "cheap"..!

I carry a cell phone every couple monthes while oncall, and when I take a road trip. Other then that, what a waste, drives me crazy people walking around, phone to ear, in the car, phone to ear...in the bathroom, phone to ear. What is so important that you have to say it while sitting on the toilet? If they need to each me call my house talk to the machine.. and maybe I'll call you back!

When you're on the transplant list and you're waiting for your new lease on life, knowing that you'll only have a few minutes to pack up and get to the ER in order to claim that organ is enough to keep the cell phone on and close-by 24/7.

I have no need for a cell phone, though I have one that anyone can buy at Walmart and pay $100 a year for hundreds and hundreds of minutes. I have it for emergencies and traveling far from home. I hate the thought of being constantly available for anyone's silly phone call. Write me a letter.

oh gosh! I absolutely LOVE my cell phone. I carry it with me all the time, will turn around and go back to the house if I forget it. I do practice good cell phone manners (at least I try to), but I would go nuts without it! Same way with my computers.
