I just came back from Las Vegas and the biggest shocker on the strip was that many of the cab drivers didn't have their air conditioners on... in 105 degrees F heat. Um yeah, it wasn't working for me. And when we asked if they could turn it on, they just said sorry, we can't... gas prices!
Thankfully, I never got heat stroke, but I came close a couple of times... and how about those poor cab drivers!? In SF I stopped using AC a few months ago, but it's doable because it doesn't get hotter than 75.
Have you guys stopped the AC? what else have you done to save gas money?
