Who's in favor of cancelling 4th of July celebrations ?

Yes, we've been blind, short-sighted, greedy and intollerant. We need to change our evil ways, and kick start our brotherly love. But I still believe in this country. I spit back on anyone who dares to spit on the USA, even those elected by us, anyone at all. I will bake the same red, white, and blue cake I've always baked on the 4th of July, and we will celebrate, as always the Idea of Freedom.

Chris Satullo is not in favor of cancelling celebrations. He stated that the current state of US violations of the sacred principles our revolution was about, ergo, torture used on prisoners, no habeus corpus for prisoners, should cause us to pause rather than celebrate this year. He talked about bringing honor back to the country from the present leadership who violates our prinicples at every turn.

People like you who march in lock step with the the Bushies of the world both frighten and disgust me. The principals for which my ancestors and I sacrificed are not so easily discarded as they have been by Bush and the neo-nazies he brought into high office with him. You managed to read the headline. Did you bother reading the article or after the first line, was it too much for you?

We have a dimwit for president who has never read the constitution or declaration of independence so how could he possibly understand them? I know why he didn't read them. They didn't have pictures!

So, before you get your nuts in a wringer, think about what Satullo said, and don't simply march off to any war George the Putz asks you to march off to.

I wont get into whether he is right or wrong, but I will agree that we should celebrate his right to voice his opinions. That is still a basic tennant of American Freedoms.

Although someone will probably deem his words hate speech, and then there will be a lawsuit.

Hell no! I think it should be a week long feast!

Yep, read the whole thing. Sounds like to me he wants to cancel the 4th celebrations.
