Good, I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Posted: Jul 6, 08 5:45pmPosted: Jul 6, 08 5:49pmLas Vegas really irritated the @$# out of me. I found it exhausting and costly. The traveling was a pain and 4 hours is too long for me now. I question the human race and any fondness for it. This is from a girl who once believed LV was fun and energizing and the most glorious vacation spot in the world. And that travel was exciting. It's taken me all week to recover and feel like myself again. Is it bedtime? Posted: Jul 6, 08 5:54pmNot sure, but I had a big whoop on Fri. and I am still in recovery };-> Posted: Jul 6, 08 5:56pm![]() It's taken me all week to recover and feel like myself again. Is it bedtime? ![]() La, la, laaaa... la, la, laaaa, dot dee doo dooo deet dee doo. Posted: Jul 6, 08 6:01pmI like to think our idea of relaxation has changed... Posted: Jul 6, 08 6:05pmI surely can no longer do those all-nighters and then expect to just pop up and go to work. But I am alright with that...don't need to party that hard anymore, do I? Got over it. What do they say? "Youth is wasted on the Young". Posted: Jul 6, 08 6:26pm![]() When exactly did we reach the age when we want to rest before we plan to stay out late or rest when we've returned from having a really great time? Hell a sunburn exhausts me. I'm thinking I'm too old for relaxation. It takes too long to recuperate from all the recreation. Was this exhaustion somehow bundle in the 40th birthday gifts? Was it stashed between never sleeping past 5 am and bifocals? ![]() I think you call it 'getting old'... not a set age, just slowly creeps upon you.. I have bad days and not so bad days, but I know I have to keep this body moving as long as I can even if it hurts.. You know the saying.. " If you don't use it, you lose it. |
