WW3...Imminent?

The price of oil is rising through the ceiling? Why? John McCain promises to continue the war; Barach Obama wants to withdraw troops. Who really believes that the Bush administration will allow that to happen? Could it be that the closer we get to the Presidential elections, the closer we get to The Big One?

Most people would agree that, he who controls the oil flow in the Middle East, controls the world. Are we really going to give up our interests in this region by withdrawing from Iraq? TheInquiringEye thinks not.

The time is prime for conflict escalation. What do you think?

Soon all of earth will band together to fight off the invading forces from Galaxy 12-26A. Thank goodness the Norweigians have developed the super helix propellent gun, which will destroy the central nervous system of the invader's 46th tentacle.

Once we repel the invaders, we will celebrate by invading Iran.

Hopefully the big one is coming. In reality this is a clash of cultures and theologies and not oil driven even though thats what libs want and believe. In fundamentalist muslims we have a group that believe the only good american is a dead american and that jews and christians alike should be destroyed. They try to reach this goal using their terrorist attacks. A regional war would allow us to use our superior technology and weapons of mass destruction to take care of these people. They believe that might is right, so me thinks that we should show them how right we are. This war of theological blood skirmishes will go on for years unless we treat it like what it really is, a third world war already. I think what you will see is threat Iran will keep on with its nuclear program(just think north korea and iran with nukes, how comforting!) and israel will bomb the facility. This will escalate into a regional war with 4 or 5 countries going after israel. israel is the nuclear power in the region and it might come to the use of nukes. This will spread it further and somewhere along the line we will become involved both politically and militarily

Hopefully TIE this will come true: "Maliki Stunner: He Wants US Pullout Timetable" from the news today. Maybe we will get told once and for all in the public eye of the Middle East to get the hell out and do it according to the timetable of the country that we invaded. From there I will be interested to see if Bush is brought up on war crimes for invading a sovereign nation under...oops...bad intelligence!

I feel you are wrong. Remember back to Glorson and the battle of the Corkanks, much was made of the ability of divergent cultures being able to band together to fight a common foe, and yet they got their asses kicked.

If you go to the Caranza Memorial in the N.J. Pine Barrens Every August 14th At exactly 1:32 A.M. and stare at the sky till daybreak, you will get a stiff neck.

That and you will find the real answer on how to stop WW3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you are seeing what you want to see. Granted we won't be leaving the ME anytime soon; we are forward positioned there now and garrisons will be built and manned much like the bases in Europe and Korea allowed the US military to be in position to stop the threat of the Soviet Union.

I do not think WW3 is imminent but tensions in the world are growing and will continue to grow for another generation or two. There will be a clash sometime down the road and it is imperative the US win if there is going to be any kind of freedom or self determination for the people of the world.

You can't just leave the region without an exit plan! Plus Obama now says that withdrawing within the next year and a half may change depending what he hears from the military leaders. So I don't think we will be leaving anytime soon, so I would not worry about W3 yet. I don't think even Bush wants that.
