Back in Detroit and off to concerts tonight we start with John Mellencamp and finish of with the Kid Rock concert on Sunday. In between some barbecuing and boating. A stress free weekend with a lot of fun.

Tomorrow is visiting day at my son's camp. My parents are coming up for the weekend to go with me to visit him all day in 96 degree weather (ugh). Then I am taking my folks to see Tony Bennett, my treat. They have pavilion seats. I'll be on a lawn chair with a few friends probably passed out from the heat of the day.

Sunday I will recoup and BBQ.

With my husband's job, they are having a company picnic so were taking the kids there Saturday,

Want to live through me as I help install a hardwood floor in my living room? I didn't think so....

Seafood dinner tonight with my boyfriend and another couple (who I get the biggest kick out of, they are in their 70's and so much fun) at the Yacht Club -- not a fancy place, just sounds imposing. After.. either a movie or head down to the Fishing Derby and see what band is playing.

Saturday and Sunday will be mostly spent on schoolwork, my semester ends on July 31st. Summer school never again!! My boyfriend and I will find something fun and relaxing to do Saturday and Sunday evening. He has to work all day Saturday and Sunday, too.

Also just a little on edge 'til my son and his fiancee' get home from Alabama. I can't believe they left early Thursday morning driving and made it there late afternoon. We live in Wisconsin. They should be home Sunday night/early Monday.

I'm hiding from my girls this weekend. Shhhh! Don't tell them! I love them to pieces, but I just need a little break from all the drama and no looking at cars for a couple of days .. my youngest is looking to buy one. She seems obsessed all of a sudden with Pontiac Grand Ams; I must have seen over 20 already.

Right now I need to do my dishes and clean bird cages. I think I'd rather tbd!
