Politics for yet another year ?

BadFrog, totally agree.I tried to start a discussion about how the media chooses the candidates for us and shoves them down our throats day after day after day. It didn't go anywhere so I hope you get something going here I feel it is important that we get change in this political circus.

I am ashamed to say that in this great country of OURS and I emphasize OURS we don't have much of a choice. Most people I know are waiting for a candidate to stand up, remove the plastic suite and say what we all want to hear. I personally don't care if they are Dem., Rep. or Indep. Man, just say what you really feel !!!!

I really want to have a candiate that I "feel good about" and actually be motivated to get off my ass and go vote come November !

PS .." I always vote "..that helps me feel justified when I want to "pitch a be'atch" ..

You know, I've said this already, but I ALMOST don't care as long as we get a change. There are a few repubs, I COULD like, but the last 2 terms have about cured me of going that path again. Yes, it would be nice if someone came along and took a strong stance on issues. No middle of the road, vanilla, hope everyone likes me BS.

It makes me very happy to see a few "Real Thinking Beings" who have replied to this post. I was beginning to feel like I was in a real life drama of the movie "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", with all the "brain dead" parrots I keep seeing.

Why don't you run and offer something new. No, it's easier to do 'the same old crap' like b--tching in every post. I have yet heard you offer something constructive on any issue. You're guilty of the same stuff, aren't you?

It's my favorite "gadfly" FlyingPHX. How does anyone compete with the tremendous power of the established media and political power systems other than trying to "wake up the masses" as best we can?

Also, my shortening your name is in no way an insult. It's just habit to shorten cities to airport codes for me.
