Spent 10 years in a job I grew to dislike, hate towards the end. Held out because I had the kind of support at home that let me survive and n$ce provided chance to go after pleasure on vacations - we went places :) After her death I quit the job, dropped 30+ years in a field that pays even the incompent decently, and went to school for somethign that also lets me travel but more or less pick my hours and days, take it with me without too much effort, and means the idiot I'll have to work for is myself. I'll let you know how it works out when (if) I graduate in May. |
