Posted: Aug 28, 08 11:33am LTS---Life's Too Short. I am so lucky that I had a career I loved. And a pretty good marriage. And pretty good friends. At this point in my life I have decided that life it too short to do something I really do not want to do or be around people who are "downers." So am I being foolish or selfish?? No, I am still a tbder I am sad that some good people are leaving. But don't forget that 10 years on the local Board of Education left me with very thick skin Glad you are still here, too Pru!! I had a friend once say, "I refuse to let their bad day ruin my good day." Another friend's mother (whose funeral I did) always said, "When I wake up every day I have a choice - to be happy or not. I choose happy." :)
