Okay, here is the schedule. If you are an old schooler, scroll down to January 1 and pick up the track with the Cotton Bowl. But if you want to get down and dirty. If you just plain luuuuv college football. Then read on from here, and post your smack.
Poinsettia Bowl
Utah vs. Navy December 20 9 pm ET ESPN
Middies are on fire this year. Watch out Utes.
New Orleans Bowl
Florida Atlantic vs. Memphis December 21 8 pm ET ESPN2
You gotta love Florida Atlantic; they didn't even have a football team until 2001.
PapaJohns.com Bowl
Southern Miss vs. Cincinnati December 22 1 pm ET ESPN2
Cincy will roll unless Southern Miss sneaks alum Brett Favre back on the field.
New Mexico Bowl
Nevada vs. New Mexico December 22 4:30 pm ET ESPN
Lobos howl at home.
Las Vegas Bowl
UCLA vs. BYU December 22 8 pm ET ESPN
A rematch from the second week of the season when UCLA won. BYU is a better team today; UCLA is not. Cougars win.
Hawaii Bowl
Boise State vs. East Carolina December 23 8 pm ET ESPN
Tough one to call. Boise has the post-season experience and the offense to prevail.
Motor City Bowl
Purdue vs. Central Michigan December 26 7:30 pm ET
Boilermakers want to redeem a season that went sour in the end. They will.
Holiday Bowl
Arizona State vs. Texas December 27 8 pm ET ESPN
PAC 10 vs. Big 12. The Sun Devils by an eyelash.
Texas Bowl
Houston vs. TCU December 28 8 pm ET NFLNetw
Toss up. Houston lost their coach. Horned Frogs finished strong and should win.
Champs Sports Bowl
Boston College vs. Michigan St. December 28 5 pm ET ESPN
BC should take this unless they are too bummed to have missed the Orange Bowl.
Emerald Bowl
Maryland vs Oregon State December 28 8:30 pm ESPN
Beavers slap the Terps who when they are good are very, very good, and when they are bad they are horrid.
Meineke Bowl
Connecticut vs. Wake Forest December 29 1 pm ET ESPN
<Deamon Deacons will have a "home field" advantage in Charlotte and win.
Liberty Bowl
UCF vs. Mississippi State December 29 4:30 pm ET ESPN
Mississippi State is better, and battle-tested in the mayhem of the SEC.
Alamo Bowl
Penn State vs. Texas A&M December 29 8 pm ET ESPN
Aggies new coach against Joe Paterno coaching his 500th game. I believe Jo Pa's karma carries the Nittany Lions to victory.
Independence Bowl
Alabama vs. Colorado December 30 8 pm ET ESPN
<'Bama or the Buffs? Go figure. Two bipolar teams if ever there were any.
Armed Forces Bowl
California vs. Air Force December 31 12:30 pm ET ESPN
Cal should not be in a bowl game. Period. Falcons better win.
Humanitarian Bowl
Georgia Tech vs. Fresno State December 31 2 pm ET ESPN2
Bulldogs swat the Yellow Jackets. Fresno always underrated.
Sun Bowl
USF vs. Oregon December 31 2 pm ET CBS
Without Denis Dixon, Ducks won't win. What is his status?
Music City Bowl
Kentucky vs. Florida State December 31 4 pm ET ESPN
Kentucky should have their way with the Seminoles. My . . . but times have changed.
Chick-fil-A Bowl
Clemson vs. Auburn December 31 7:30 pm ET ESPN
Excellent Clemson offense should squeak by very good Auburn defense.
Insight Bowl
Indiana vs. Oklahoma State December 31 6 pm ET NFL Netw
Hoosiers first bowl in 14 seasons. They gotta win. Gene Hackman, are you clapping?
Outback Bowl
Wisconsin vs. Tennessee January 1 11 am ET ESPN
Vols over Badgers. They progressed better over the course of the season.
Cotton Bowl
Missouri vs. Arkansas January 1 11:30 am ET FOX
Mizzou let the BCS championship get away. They will redeem themselves in Dallas.
Gator Bowl
Texas Tech vs. Virginia January 1 1 pm ET CBS
Red Raiders are a passing machine. They will fly by the Cavaliers.
Capital One Bowl
Michigan vs. Florida January 1 1 pm ET ABC
Gators, Gators, Gators. Even if it is Lloyd Carr's last game.
Rose Bowl
USC vs. Illinois January 1 4:30 pm ET ABC
Trojans may be the best team in the country. Score will show it.
Sugar Bowl
Hawaii vs. Georgia January 1 8:30 pm ET FOX
Let's get real, Hawaii. This is the Dawgs we're talking about, as in S-E-C. Georgia handily.
Fiesta Bowl
Oklahoma vs. West Virginia January 2 8 pm ET FOX
Sooners, like USC, are way better than people realize. They should win without too much trouble.
Orange Bowl
Virginia Tech vs. Kansas January 3 8 pm ET FOX
VaTech, with room to spare. Kansas has been a mirage.
International Bowl
Ball State vs. Rutgers January 6 12 pm ET ESPN2
Huh? Okay, Rutgers.
GMAC Bowl
Bowling Green vs. Tulsa January 6 8 pm ET ESPN
Score could look more like a basketball game. Lots of offense. No idea who will win.
BCS Championship Game
Ohio State vs. LSU January 7 8 pm ET FOX
If there are gods looking down upon college football, they will lift the Tigers to victory, for LSU have surely earned it with a gutsier schedule and style of play. But this is Ohio State. Fate has smiled more than once on the hard-working Buckeye's and their sterling defense. Should be a great game. LSU by a whisker.

Are you ready for some football!!??
