David Sauls Posed this question and this post on August 8, 2008

Clearly David's opinion and post has caused quite the stir as we have had to start a new thread due to so many posts and so many members interest and opinions. 460+ pages worth.

Question as posed by David Sauls on original thread from August 8, 2008:

Is it just me or does anyone else out there feel an evil chill go down their back after ingesting the video/photo, word images and sound bites of Barack Obama?

I am not a raciest or anti black presidential type. There is just something about his entire media persona that ties my gut up in knots. The grand standing in Europe, the Obama symbol on his jet airplane, his ministers views.... are these things foreshadowing some darkness that most cannot see at this point?

Okay, it is historical that a black man is the front runner to rule the free world. But does it seem to anyone else besides me that too many people are just jumping on a band wagon created by the media and exploited by the Democratic party?

Think back through world history for a second. There have been some really negative consequences to blindly following leaders that just seem to pop up out of nowhere.

Does anyone get what i am trying to say?

Kate1961 Said: With all due respect, there were MANY rumblings about Reagan's signs of alzheimers during his tenure. (I love him anyway, reminds me of myself). And, if something happened to JM, wouldn't it then be Palin and Pelosi??? LOL, they'd be rolling around on the White House floor tearing each others hair out... what a picture.

I personally would rather it be her and Pelosi than Biden and her, you know how I feel about Biden. I can't stomach that man. I do think BO made a good choice in him because of his Foregin Policy experience but he rubs me the wrong way. His whole 'holier than thou' attitude during the Clarence Thomas hearings put me off and I will never forget that.

Good grief, can't we all just move along? Enough already.

Sorry, Chelle ... I won't be joining you kids over here. I'd been staying away from the first thread ... hoping it would finally implode. To begin anew with the same, tired, offensive thread title and thinly veiled racist tirade ...

Thanks, but no thanks.

Do you think I should take the whole original post off, Mr. Write? I do respect your opinion? I would love to have your opinions.
