Do tell. What are you planning for dinner tonight? You can call it supper. Doesn't matter. We are celebrating food.

In a couple of hours we'll grill a couple of rib eyes, steam some fresh broccoli, and I'm about to go out and make some potatoes au gratin. Red wine.

No dessert, though Mr. C will probably hit that disgusting peanut butter/chunk o' some overly sweet grossness/chip ripple fudge fat/marshmallow crud he calls ice cream.

I love to eat, and I love to cook. (fortunately, I also love to go to the gym!) I threw together rice cooked in "lite" coconut milk, chicken stock, and raisins. Tossed boneless , skinless chicken thighs with ginger, curry, garlic, pepper, cinnamon, and a little coconut milk. Placed the chicken on the partially cooked rice, baked for an hour. As what's- her- name would say..."Delish!:

Ok, I had a ghost post again...

Why does that happen. I post and it disappears like a ghost. That's twice today.

Anyway, I'm hosting 4 women tonight and they have requested grilled NY steaks with baked potatoes and fresh veggies.

They have also requested appletinis.

Last night they had shrimp cocktail, chicken fajitas and side salad.

With margaritas, of course.

We're having hot dogs on fresh bakery rolls with home made slaw, and zesty french fries. Can't wait!
