Go for a drive.

Go for a walk together.

Once a month my husband and I have what we call our bedroom picnics. I buy finger foods and wine, we lock the door and have a picnic on the bed. Never fails!

ruthbrown, that's what I'm talking about. Perfect and no ants. We are both going to love this. Thanks.

We have snowshoes so we just need to buy our snowpass. That makes a pretty fun and inexpensive date. The wine and cheese at the end of the day are pretty good too.

I'm still trying to get my husband to go with me to Costco. Holding hands, looking at big screen tvs. Having too many choices. Leaving.

In the summer we take a walk on the lovely riverwalk out to Lake Michigan to watch the sunset over the great lake. Spectacular!!

In the winter we may take in a movie and go out for pizza.

And candles always add a lovely touch to at home dinners.

Roxley and Zumba, mm mm, sounds snuggly and warm to me. I already told DH about the picnic. He liked it very much.

He knows little about the new friends I have met on here, but soon he'll be sending you a PM with his admission, "Gals, why didn't I think of that?" Thanks!

My husband and I are keeping the fires going, literally, long-term,despite taking the, "Road less traveled", and enduring many bumps along the way! We do love to sit and drink a glass of wine by the fireplace. Also, we take lots of year-round walks, especially in the backyard, with our energetic pound pup. In addition, we love to talk, joke around, watch DVDs, and cook together when not working!

cherannluv , we got that fireplace, paradise property, and 3 scooby doo things going on. I wholeheartedly agree! *claps about now*

DH took an early retirement last year and I am interested in keeping the zest in life. I do believe I am counting my blessings. DD sent a DVD player for Christmas and I believe you are onto something we haven't fooled around with yet.

Hey, thanks!
