Let's face it, there are things you still wouldn't care about, even if you could afford them.

top of my list:

jewelry

yachts

wine cellars

I don't care about any of those things either, Greyfan.

But if I did come into a nice amount of cash I would like to be able to help our folks and our kids. It would be fun to set up scholarship funds for kids who need help with college or trade school. And my husband and I would travel more. I do not see us making any big changes in the way we live now--although it would be a "splurge" to not buy everything on sale!!!

I'm not big into jewelry either.

I wouldn't buy a yacht, but I'd love be friends with someone who had one I could play on once in a while.

I wouldn't mind a wine cellar.

I wouldn't buy multiple homes all over the country (and other countries, too). I'm a home-body, so I like to root to one spot, and then VISIT others, not LIVE at others.

I wouldn't buy expensive clothes for the sake of buying expensive clothes. I'm more of a mid-priced gal. Give me Coldwater Creek and Victoria Secret over some of those designer names any day.

I would NEVER spend hundreds / thousands of dollars on a stupid purse!!!

In all honesty, if I had unlimited resources, I wouldn't be spending it on me for the most part. Much like Power . . . along with great WEALTH comes great responsibility. I'd be looking for ways to make - at the VERY least - the community around me a better place . . . If I could change the world with my money, all the better!

I will not pay $41 for a pair of pants to wear to the gym. I just bought some for $14 instead but that still seems like a lot of money. I've always said even if I was rich I would still refuse to pay full price for anything.

AFTER I bought my "tricked out" turbo charged, custom Jeep Rubicon, I would likely try to find a way to make more and help those less fortunate than I.
