Menstrual pain

There are many women that suffers from menstrual cramps and it varies in intensity. They usually start a week before the menstruation starts and sometime last throughout the the beginning of it. Is there a cause? Yes, it is a calcium deficiency.

As the women's body gets ready to get rid of the blood that was saved to form the placenta for the baby that missed the ovulation process, calcium drops about a week before the actual menstruation. When the actual menstruation happens, calcium drops even more probably to prevent blood clots as the body tries to get rid of that blood. We should know that calcium is a very important for blood coagulation. Since calcium is also an excellent pain killer is the reason women will experience so much pain and also because calcium with magnesium are important for muscle contractions.

So what is your prescription for menstrual cramps? It is calcium. However, calcium is best absorbed with vitamin D. Now, vitamin D that usually comes together with calcium are synthetic. I recommend getting enough sun until you actually sweat. Or you can swallow some cod liver oil capsules which have enough vitamin D in it.

Just trying to help ladies! This is an excerpt from a blog I wrote. Being part of the solution and not part of the problem as "men" usually are: Men-struation, men- opause, pre-men-strual syndrome .

Uuummm, Rafael, personally I really do not think that this is an appropriate subject for a "gentleman" your age (or a man of any age) to be posting. There is absolutely no way in hell you would know what a women goes through even if you are married. even more reason that you need not post subject matter. When I read this & saw that a man posted I had to comment.

I am surprise that you have been married for so long and still feeling this way. I dont want to make you feel bad ( I probably had twice or more) but I dont find nothing wrong with it, especially if you are a doctor.

yes....but like everything............there is NO ONE answer. Sometimes the female is suffering from Endometriosis.

All women need to have yearly pelvic/paps exams and at that time discuss problems, such as pain.

Even paps/pelvic exams don't check everything.

But Rafael, avoid liquid Dial anti-bacterial soap, it causes enlarged prostates.

I don't know why you are surprised & you didn't hurt my feelings at all. My Hubby & I have a good strong marriage & discuss everything. I still have not changed my mind & you are not a doctor.
