Posted: Sep 22, 08 1:04pm![]() Have you ever voted for someone not in your affiliated political party? Not just in the General Elections, but State and City elections, too. I was a Democrat for years when I was young. I believed the Democrats were for the working class, mostly because my dad said so. But I voted for Independents, Republicans and Democrats, depending on their views on policies important to me at the time. Then, in my late 20's, I switched to Republican because they were supposed to be for smaller government, lower taxes and a strong military. But I voted for Democrats, Libertarians, Independents and Republicans. Now I'm registered in California as "No party affiliation" which in California means I'm an independent, I guess. I believe both Democrats and Republicans have let us down. But I will still vote for whoever I think is best regardless of their party affiliation. How about you? ![]() Posted: Sep 22, 08 1:05pm![]() Hi Scarecrow: And yes. In all cases. For the views, for the best person, for the leadership. Always. ![]() Dang, you are following me around.
