Things I must remember to do ..

- chase my "sweetheart everyday"

- make sure my pension $$ is deposited on the 1st

- cash my dividend check every 91 days so I can eat

- remember to shave at least once a week

- pick my dirty underwear up every morning

- raise the toilet seat when I go pee

- PM Tulip to gossip & gossip & gossip

- feed the cats

- bring my sweety her morning coffee in bed

- remember to update the "real list"

Things to pack for this weekend's trip to Asheville to visit daughter and strange son in law:

1. dog stuff

2. warm clothes

3. patience

4. referee shirt

5. time speeder upper machine in case things go south

Olivia, I could use one of those "time speeder upper" machines when it is so cold here. . . but then I would only get older faster!!!!

That's a very good point you make. You have to choose your poison I guess. I can usually cure the situation or at least give it a lovely hazy appearance with enough wine but I don't want to worry my kinfolk and I think alcohol makes you look older even though you're not older.

You've presented me with a dilemma Rox.

Hmm, I think I would prefer the wine even if it did make me look older, Olivia (at least temporarily!!) And I would be much more pleasant to be around even if I did look temporarily older!

The "time speeder upper" machine, on the otherhand, would just make me older faster and I would not necessarily be more pleasant. Old folks can be cranky, you know!!

Why don't you invent a time goer-backer? That way if things go South, you don't have to go to Asheville at all. (No aging either).
