Eyelift Decision: Last Chance to Help Me Decide

Thanks for the public and private messages as I've been considering the eyelift decision. I think I am going to do it...have put down a deposit, had an EKG and eye exam, and go back for a pre-op consultation. I will write about the entire process, from consideration to investigation to decision (and results if I go through with it). In the meantime, though, if any TeeBeeDee member has had your eyelids lifted, please either private message me or post here about whether you think it was worth the money/pain/trouble. Thanks!

I had my eyes done in bangkok. world class hospital, very cheap, results so excellent that an sf plastic surgeon scoffed at my assertion that I'd had my eyes done. And my eyes were getting droopy. trouble is I had slanted eyes, and now I have round eyes in triangular spaces. not sorry, but wish I had my original eyes--esp now my grandchild has them.

Have you checked out Thermage? A non-invasive procedure; in by 10, out by 1, back to work the next day. It's a radio-frequency lift at a fraction of the cost of surgery. Perfect for us 40+ers who need a lift but are not quite ready for the full monty. It takes 3 - 6 months to see the full effect but there is some instant gratification. My eyebrows have been lopsided my whole life until I had Thermage a couple of weeks ago. . .now I'm even. Full disclosure folks: my husband is on the management team of the company. That said, I am a satisfied customer who can't wait to see what October holds!

i so relate to this-

part of the magical thinking about ps is that we compare our post op selves to how our pre op selves looked decades earlier-my 'faceborn' self has been changed too-not a lot but some- i realize it mostly when i look at features on my daughters' faces-shapes i had that now are a bit different....i also don't have the sagginess/puffiness/droopiness my middleage faceborn was featuring.....

trade offs, ladies and gentlemen....nothing's free....
