Have any of you run into interesting, creative, irreverent or funny product names? Old Fart and Fat Bastard are both wines, and Scorned Woman is a HOT tobasco sauce.
A little anecdote--When Daddy turned eighty, I wanted to give him something tongue-in-cheek, so I went in search of a bottle of Old Fart (which is not available all year, I found.) Old Fart, in red or white, is grown on older vines, and can be only appreciated by--ahem!--old farts. I enjoyed it, so what does that make me...?
I went to the package store and asked the guy at the counter in a low voice, "Uh...do you carry...uh... Old Fart?" He bellowed to the back of the crowded store, "HEY SUSIE! DO WE HAVE SOME OLD FART BACK THERE?"
"NO", came the answer from way back at the back. 'NO OLD FART BACK HERE!"
A middle-aged woman sneaking out of a package store is a pitiful sight...
