I was bored. I'd been off work for over a year, on EONS, but they screwed us over and went 13 years old and older...and I heard about tbd. Shortly, I will be returning to work...and I won't be on very often anymore. Not much for the internet...its my last resort actually...hope its ok to be this honest.

Your reply is very sincere, but why, may I ask, do you think it is important that you be 'honest'? Honesty implies relationship. What about entertainment or higher knowledge? Those are also legitimate (and common) reasons for being here, which (seem to) have very little to do with "honesty".

I saw an article on tbd in Newsweek magazine and it sounded intriguing for the "boomers". I like your options of a laugh and intellectual stimuation. I am always looking for something or somewhere to share my interests. I find that my interests require exploration as they do not seem to be those more commonly held by women. For instance, a cookie party at Christmas holds about as much interest for me as eating cow dung. I hate golf. I don't hang out in taverns and am not into eating out for the most part. I like tennis, love biking, love the northwoods, fly fishing, reading, certain types of music, some movies, and discussions like politics, religious freedom vs. religious imprisonment, the environment, and education. oh well.......

This would be an extremely inefficient place to look for a lover unless I was into phone sex. Never saw the point of that.

I came out of curiosity. I've been hanging around for the sexual banter, reading the ladies' enthusiastic comments about vibrators, learning there's a lotta middle aged folk that ain't gittin' any.

I suppose most of the ones who are gittin' it are not on line but off gittin' it.

Some of the people on this site are very nice, and some aren't. It reminds me of a suburban block party.

I am not clear whether your emphisis is on the word "share" or on "interest". (sort of... "why are you HERE", as opposed to, "why are YOU here". (Again, please dont misunderstand me. I appreciate and AM NOT trying to attack your sincerity.)
