Popeye Elbow and Other Things

Unless I missed it you did not tell us what caused the Popeye Elbow to begin with.

Or does it simply happen?

I think this condition comes from eating too much spinach!!

I have popeye elbow in my wedding pictures. I think I must have the ugliest elbows ever and I didn't even discover it until we got the pictures back and the photos from behind taken whilst I'm comitting this horrendous error so many, many years ago show the knobbiest elbows I've ever seen. I dubbed them "nipple elbows". They are very pointy. I think my daughter must have gotten her elbow phobia from this picture. She cannot stand to have her elbows discussed or touched and in fact has come running to me after some unsuspecting person touched her there screaming, "Mom, he touched my elbow!!!!"

I had forgotten how much I hate my elbows having sworn off mirrors myself and never never looking at the back of me even if I have to look in a mirror.

If I get lumps on my bumps I'll be very upset but likely will be able to forget about them since I can't remember much of anything these days.

What were we talking about?

Do not buy into "popeye" elbow. This could be a cyst or a bursal sac event. My wife had this and the doctor drained it because it was painful to lean on. It was a simple office procedure but it was not about to go away on its own.

Remember the internet is also where the rumor that Barrack Obama is a Muslim terrorist and was planted in the US as a child to become president and take away our freedoms!

The internet is good for some things but unless it was written by a doctor and I bet no doctor of medicine would call it a "popeye elbow, you been "netted."

If you choose to believe it, ok but to save a trip to the doctor when it is something that can probably be removed with a needle, its on you.

I don't know about Popeye elbow ...must now that I am older ...I am starting ot get Popeye Jowls ..makes me look fat ..YUK ..!

No elbow issues so far.

I do believe I am shrinking. Last physical I was half an inch shorter. Huh? Doc said more than likely I'm not shrinking but they always bumped me up that half inch. Huh?
