NO horror movie I have ever seen equals the shower scene in Hitchcock's Psycho--or for that matter near the ending in the basement.

Chilling and enough to turn a person's hair white.

Course I was already blonde so I did not notice any difference.

By comparison the scenes in the Exorcist were simply nauseating.

Zombies! Anything George Romero or older zombie flicks like "White Zombie".

I love all the 50's and 60's B-horror genre.

Not really sure why, but John Carpenters version of "The Thing" has always stuck with me as a favorite.

IMHO It was a "reasonable remake"..!

I vividly remember watching the "original" on a New Years eve with my two older brothers..eating popcorn and being scared to death !!

Another great suspense original in B&W is "The Creeping Known" ..talk about shocking your ass off !!

Psycho was a classic. I do tend to like the gory ones too though. I really can take the gore. LOL. The Exorcist is not a fav of mine, however. There are much better out there, IMO.

The Thing was very good. It is a fav of mine as well.

The Birds was somewhat like Psycho to me....but eerie for its' time.

I love the Zombies! I have never heard of White Zombie though. I will have to Google it!

The new Zombie movies are great....28 days later and 28 weeks later! Loved them!

Vampires are some of my favs. I liked the new one.....30 days of Night. Anybody see that?
