It seems these folks are no different than anyone in the population except they're in public office in the guise of what is advertised, sold and bought.

Their behavior is scrutinized due to being in the public eye.

Should be expected one might think. It seems we will all be recognized publicly for what we do privately.

Abe Lincoln said something like: "If you want to test a man's character, give him power".

I appears this power does not corrupt, but merely exposes. Knowledge is only knowledge. Wisdom or the lack of it is chosen behavior, it seems.

Because it's not PC to be critical of homosexual behavior -- unless you're a Republican, and then you're fair game.

It works for the Left very well. The Republicans (at least the conservatives) still have a sense of shame, some, a little, with respect to some moral issues. They'll take out their own deviant.

Ever heard of Barney Frank? Try criticizing his "lifestyle" and see what happens.

Republicans seem to think politics is a kind off country club negotiation. But democrats know it's a form of warfare.

Right wingers, don't know any better and will screw anything because "they think" God will always forgive them.

Left wingers " know they are horny and realize that getting screwed is good for the soul but realize that God will ONLY forgive those that "poke the pecker" in the right place..

I don't think homosexuality is limited to the left or right or those that don't care.

But there are two different standards for sexual behavior, hetero or homo, for the two parties.

I'm OK with that. I expect democrats to behave like the beasts of the field. I think we've got a national consensus to this effect.
