1 minute Graduation Speech

Dallas

You've been asked to give the Keynote Address at the local high school's graduation ceremony this year. They rented the auditorium for an hour, most of which time is to be spent passing out diplomas and awards.

You've been given one minute to address the graduates.

What will you say?

All that high school stuff that mattered last week? It's over. Got it? Over.

Sticking with your own little group, not having to get along with different people? Gone.

Being forced to go to class or work? Not any more.

Having grown-ups run your day for you? You're the grown-up now.

Visit with someone you know and admire who has been on their own for at least ten years. Ask them what they would do over again if they could. Take their advice to heart.

School's out. Go learn something.
