This scares me. The Internet has become such an integral part of our culture and it is difficult now to "simply not use it", yet when we do use it, our actions are monitored for any number of reasons.
Creepy, yes!

As Wired declared in April 2002, "Privacy is history. Get over it." (Actually the line was cribbed from Scott McNealy the founder of Sun Microsystems, which makes computers and internet software. He said it in 1999 at the height of the dotcom boom. It took on added meaning after 9/11.) Unfortunately, our lifestyle has made privacy obsolete. I don't have a problem with ads--however mis-targeted--but all it takes is one madman to turn that technology into a control tool. I think we're in trouble already. Posted: Mar 19, 08 7:24am![]() A little paranoid, this morning, aren't we?... ![]() Nick, No matter what, when I see your avatar on this sight, I laugh hysterically. I'm seeing Jeff Dunham with his hand up your backside, and you saying, "Silence...I Keeeelll You!!!"
