Here are the specs: 1. same size screen as the iPhone, but it's even thinner (eight-millimeters) 2. same multi-touch interface found on the iPhone handset 3. a 3.5-inch widescreen display, the ability to flick through your photos 4. Even though, as a man, I am drawn to these types of gadgets like a crow to a shiny nickel, I have yet to purchase an iPod. Not a big fan of iTunes and the whole DRM scene. BUT if they ever do an Touch with say, an 80GB drive, I will be the first to line up for one.

Did anyone else chuckle at Steve Jobs' attempt to paint the iphone price cut as a philanthropic move, rather than one to stimulate sales (which have been disappointing despite the hype)? "It's very clear we have a breakthrough product on our hands, but it's also clear that many can afford it, some can't. We'd like to make it affordable to even more folks going into this holiday season."
