I am hoping it will accomplish two goals. For those of us who are married, maybe we will stop getting pm's from people who are looking for relationships. For those who are looking for dating relationships, that can become a better possibility as well. Hopefully, having relationship status posted will accomplish BOTH goals.

Well I hope not because the PMs I've received from a few guys that thought it was a dating site before were pretty crude and one was downright gross. I'd sure hate to see a lot more of that on here. We've always been able to get to know other members if we were interested and I do think the relationship status info can be useful in that respect but I'd hate to see this turned into one more meat market personally. As I mentioned on the other thread though, I wish TBD would distinguish between separated and divorced if we are going to have that info. For dating purposes there's a HUGE difference between being separated and actually being divorced. Also, the info really isn't very useful without some kind of location search capability in my opinion. I just updated mine. Do you know how good it feels to be able to say "I'm in a relationship"!! Really, they should added one more that says... I'M IN A RELATIONSHIP FINALLY, AND I NOW HAVE A JOB!!
