As I get older, I frequently forget to adjust my dating age thermostat. As a single 46 year old guy, I need to remember that I'm a single 46 year old guy.

If that makes any sense.

To help this adjustment away from the thirty something's, I thought I would make up my list of hotties over 50.

Hey! I would get to be the younger man!

Sweet!

6) Katie Couric - Love her smile. And her legs.

5) Sigourney Weaver - She's Ripley, dang it!

4) Isabella Rossellini - She's got a delicious accent

3) Kim Basinger - Ever since "LA Confidential"

2) Joan Allen - She's the type of woman Cake sings about in "Short Skirt and Long Jacket"

and finally

1) Ann Curry - She gives me yellow fever, plus she's smart and funny. I would marry her immediately.

Wow! MIchelle Pfeiffer. Where the heck has she been these days? She must have fell off the radar to have children or a life or something.

I agree that she would definitely be on my list, but not replace La Curry.

yeah, ok, different whatever for different...

any such list of mine would include 60 year old patti smith and the somewhat younger rickie lee jones.

but that's just the way i am.
