You betcha... Not only Breast Cancer Walks (mostly Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure walks and the annual American Cancer Relay For Life walks) but I also organize and carry out the annual Lee National Denim Day (http://www.denimday.com) for our organization (it's coming up Oct. 5th). People in the organization who donate $5 towards cancer research are entitled to wear jeans to work that day (they can wear shirts too, if they want <G>)

I have just come back from one: the CIBC Run for Cure in downtown Toronto. It was my first time and I'll tell you -- I will go back every year from now on.

The amount of positive energy vibrating in that place was unbelievable! It was an emotional and fun time.

Every event my wife and I get involved with is like that. You should check out your area for small but very important events. Once you start you're hooked.

This is cool: The "GaltoGal" Crosscountry Breast Cancer VIRTUAL Walk sponsored by www.galtogal.org. More information and breaking story by clicking this link: http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?alias=walking-for-good-cause-wi&chanId=sa003&modsrc=reuters

My wife and I are discussing supporting this, as with her in her walker and me on my cane, the Susan G Komen, or others, walks and runs are physically impossible.

Maybe we'll see each other...?
