Superbowl Party Food

So our family is gathering for The Big Game this coming Sunday. We were thinking we'd serve clam chowder (for New England), ribs (just because that's a football staple for us) and then I was sort of stumped for something to serve in honor of the NY Giants... what's New York football food?

New York food? Hmmm. I'm from NY. I should know this.

Buffalo wings (orginated in Buffalo, NY)

Manhattan Clam chowder (now you have a theme!)

Hot dogs...although I would do pigs in a blanket for superbowl.

Corned beef or pastrami sandwiches.

Pizza

My favorite for superbowl....anything Mexican and a HUGE vat of my chili with all the fixins.

Just off the top of my head, I'd say go for anything giant -- giant sub, giant bowl of chili, giant cookies, whatever.

I do not like football, but I love the food. I want jalapeno-artichoke dip with fresh dungeness crab, nachos, ribs, onion dip and stinky Fritos. Will I do this? Hell no.

We're having a Zumba class on Superbowl Sunday. I want to continue my "smaller me" trend.

It's pretty fun. But those snack fantasies are fun too.
