On the thread "What..." One poster worries about the ease with which one's work becomes available when posted here at TBD. A quick google can locate anything we post.
This person notes, "In other words, anything any of us have written could be plagiarised - and this would distress me."
He goes on to wonder if we shouldn't somehow protect our work, noting,
"This could be overcome by creating within TBD a members only private forum, but that in itself would be nigh impossible to administer and police. Who could be allowed to become members of such an "inner forum"?
I know nothing of you personally and you know nothing about me - only what we have read on TBD."
My question is how much writers here worry about being either plagiarised or recognized by others. Our work is suddenly out there and available to the world. It is what we/(some of us) want but is it also something we fear or should be concerned about?
