It's been over four months since the description for The Writing Group (TWG) was revised. In that time, the group membership has more than doubled in size. As we bask in the glow of membership affection, I ask that we consider better defining why we are all here and what it is we hope to achieve as a large group community.
The founder of this group, akabukowski, made it clear that in the end it's all about writing. With this in mind, I encourage you members to let us know what you think we are about and how you would craft a description. You may post your suggestions here or PM them to me for anonymous posting later.
Here's what I think The Writing Group is about:
- All types of writing, regardless of skill level.
- Learning to write better and smarter, with your heart and voice.
- Community in every sense of the word, including caring for, supporting and respecting each other.
- Meeting others who love writing.
- Having fun.
With sincere thanks in advance, I look forward to your suggestions. I will update the current group description on or before the end of the month.
