Lost: If you could identify the artist gracing your page, I would like it very much. I almost never know who it is.

Today I heard my son and daughter-in- law "heard a heartbeat" as they say. So at 11 weeks we have a new potenial life that is growing healthy and strong, so it's here in the state where I live, so maybe I'll actually see the little someone once in a while, as opposed to my grandkids on the East Coast, who rarely get here.

What great news. I know how you feel, only from the opposite side. Both our parents are far away and we wish we were closer so the kids could know them better. We find videotape helps; though we don't do it often enough.

A perfect fraction of lunar ice fell from its night cradle

I watched as it sped toward me here

on the surface of this greengold sphere.

How can this be I dreamt?

How can the moon fall from the sky?

I cupped my hands and waited, poised to receive

but the crescent veered and shattered

into a million ice blue stars,

that floated up and became as one

and so replaced the moon.

I would rather not know of this imposter moon

and will tell no one.

My senses have awakened

I have no idea where I am

I know that somewhere there is a real world

I am not in the world right now

I am somewhere in between

Again, I felt that strange "push" that awoke my senses .. another push

Huh ..the foggy awareness begins to lift

Across my back ..a new strange, heavy feeling

I have opened my eyes ..the world is real

The dreamworld has left me lying there, conscious of the day

I roll my head to the side and there he is

Merlin peering into my eyes ,, purring at me and as if to say..

"Good morning father .. feed me" !!

Sometimes I could just "love to hate" my little boy cat. He doesn't care when or what time ..when he is hungry he pesters me until I do my primary "human chore" ..to feed him ..
