Here are the things that drive me bonkers when I see / hear them. What say you?
1. "at the end of the day, _______..." I'm SO 'over' that statement.
2. "it is what it is..." Uh - thank you, Captain Obvious.
3. People who spell "lose" or "losing" as "loose" or "loosing"
4. Improper usage of "their" "there" and "they're."
5. Texting speak.. UR, OMG, B4, BFF, etc.
6. "I'm efforting that..." Arrrrgh!
7. "an anonymous stranger..." Brought to you by the Department of Redundancy Department.
EDIT: Fair enough about #5. Let me clarify to say that I can't stand it when people use texting speak in emails or on the internet. I will allow that it is useful when actually texting.
