I have 13 years as a career federal employee. I left 5 years ago to return to school, and start my own business. Things had been going along quite nicely, when my husband began to have health issues. I now find myself in a tightening economy with a spouse who may never be able to work again.
I peeked at the USAjobs website, and lo and behold, there is a federal job in my area which is quite similar to my previous experience with the government. Trouble is, I haven't filled out the new forms...EVER. The form is called an OF-612. Even after they introduced the form, I was stubborn and stuck with the old SF-171.
Does anyone know what I'm even talking about? If you do, I could sure use some help, and I have some very specific questions about the form, as well.
I also have to answer questions called KSA's. My oh my, the government loves their initials, don't they?
The job is an accounting technician-type job. Anyone out there who might be able to offer assistance? I'd love to hear from you!
Oh, the OTHER problem...I have to complete these enormous forms in ONE WEEK. Yikes!!
Thanks in advance,
Della
