It might be interesting for you to spend some money (less than $50) and see what comes out of a career assessment exercise www.assessment.com It will tabulate the best-fit occupations for you. The key issue will be the money factor.

Also, I spoke to a recruiter friend of mine about you. He indicated that more and more companies are hiring people who are fluent in both English and Spanish to work in their HR departments (specifically training/development) and in the Marketing Communications department for firms focusing on the Hispanic community.He felt the money was inline with your current level.

I agree with Gordon. There is no way anyone could tell you what you might do next. It depends on both your interests and proclivities ... and what is available where you are or will live.

In my life, I have had four disparate careers that on the surface seem to have nothing to do with each other but when you break down the requisite skills, each contributed to the others so that my career, though diverse, makes sense.

Take the time and the few dollars that are required to look at your underlying interests and capabilities.

Though I am now 68, I cannot promise that my latest career - owning and managing real estate - will be my last. I may take up train robbery next. In these times, all i would need is a pair of wire clippers to cut the electricity. The rest is just a matter of ambition and persuasion!

Thank you. I will check out that site, and I will look into HR. I think I would do a great job with that, but employers want experienced people. I need to work on the transferable skills of my resume.
