So how do you plan anything?

I would love to join the discussion with you but before long you will get a few people who will go very deep into this subject. So I will say what I believe and be done.

Some say the time will be 2012. I believe we do not know. He will come like a thief in the night. I am ready for when ever it is. I always have been. I have never really felt that this is my home and I look forward to the day when my Lord will say "you are finally home my child". It gives me chills to think of that happening. Not that I have not had some wonderful times during my lifetime. I am thankful for every one of them. But I believe nothing can compare to the day I am truly home.

The signs are happening more often now that the end is getting near. I just don't know God's plan concerning how long He feels we need to endure hardships before we are ready for Him to come.

As I said this is just my humble opinion.

There is nothing wrong with planning or doing. It will be a surprise, because no one knows the time or the hour, but the Farther who is in heaven.

The Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. Maybe when no one expects it. That's the way it is written in the Bible.

Jesus also reminded his followers that there are signs that will indicate that his return is close. He mentioned that people's attitudes will change and people will become more self-focused; he also said that there would be certain weather signs and astronomical signs.

I have seen people become more selfish and lovers of money. NASA predicts that the current cycle of sunspots is the worst they've ever seen, culminating in 2012. There are also some astronomical events occuring in addition to sunspots. While it may not herald Christ's return just yet, there will be many events in the sky and on earth that may. Be mindful of all the signs.

There are some folks who say we are headed for some cataclysm in 2012. That may be true, and it may be the beginning of the tribulation period. The only comment I have is that we should be mindful of the way things are going and be prepared.
