I have to commend you on a couple of things. One is that you have become a believer, and because of the heavy cultural influence, Jewish believers usually suffer the loss of much or all of their family ties. The other is staying in the faith regardless of what others say or do.

As a non-Jewish believer, I can relate that many believers somehow think that Jews are chosen by God, and maybe somehow God will excuse their lack of belief in the Messiah Jesus.

While the Jews of 2000 years ago missed the coming of the Messiah, they are no different than the conditions that exist today--there are probably millions of people, Jewish or not, that do not believe that the Messiah has come and will appear again.

I think you'll find also that most Christians do not reach out to share their faith with anyone else, not just a lack of sharing with Jews -- or Buddhists, Muslims, or anyone else. From my personal experience I know it can be difficult, but not impossible.

Doesn't it say in the Bible that those who stand with Isreal and the Jewish people will be blessed by GOD???

We are to support Israel, and yes, God will bless any nation that does so. But, I do believe that it is prophesy that ALL nations will eventually turn against Israel. Woe to us then!! Whether or not we agree with the Jewish faith, we are still to support the nation of Israel because God's chosen people live there.

Thank you for your insights. I heartily agree. I know I don't tell enough people about Jesus, and I am esp. intimidated to tell Jewish folks. (Boy, we are a tough people!) I may have lost much of the family connections I had, but not only have I gained unending life with the Lord of ALL, but look at the new family He's given me!!!!! Yes indeed, Debbie!!! I just become a bit sad when I hear the folks that haven't read those words or don't care for them. I AM too sensitive.

As a born again Christian, every pastor I have ever had had always said the Jews & Israel are the chosen people. I believe the Bible says that the Lord is waiting for as many Jews as possible to come to know Jesus. All that do will be saved.

I for one love the Jewish people & Israel & will do all I can to stand up for them. I will never turn my back on the Lord's chosen ones.
