Mentors

Hi All

I am new to this group but I have been thinking of this for a long time .I would REALLY like to have a mentor for some of the ideas that I have to start a business but everytime I ask people they shy away from it.What I was thinking was if I was able to start something,I would do it a way from there market area,so I really don't see the big deal from a business point of view,however I could be wrong.Anyway just a thought.

I think finding a mentor is a great idea. What it often requires is you getting a "warm" intro to the person you want to be your mentor from a mutual acquaintance.

You can also check out your local S.C.O.R.E. office, a division of Small Business Administration (SBA). They provide no cost mentoring. Contact your local SBA office if you want to learn more.
