Many of us who started our own business did it for a few months or more in parallel with our fulltime positions, in the evening or on the weekend. We didnt quit our job until we were sure we had the right business. With that said, it's hard to know what is the right business for you. If there are a few business ideas that appeal to you, you might start by talking to people who are currently in that business.Ask them how they got started, what they like/dislike, and what advice they can give you. Check out your local Chamber of Commerce office or local SBA office to sign up for free workshops on starting your own business. Worse case, you'll meet others who can possible mentor you in this process. Go confidently in the direction of your dream!
