Hello,

I'm new to the group and would love to introduce you to Sydney:

She is a purebred Golden Retriever. Now 6 years old but I've had her since she was a puppy. I dont think she ever forgave me for selling the house with a pool as she is definitely a water dog.

All she wants is your attention and to be close to you. She receives many compliments and though she's not conceited she KNOWS she's gorgeous! I tease her all the time because she has the most beautiful highlights in her fur. I tell her "women pay BIG BUCKS for those ya know!"

We spent last Christmas nursing her from a very invasive surgery to remove 6 cancerous masses from her tummy/side area. It was a difficult recovery but in the end SO worth it as she is cancer free!!

I look forward to reading everyone's stories/advice.
