Working for a non-profit is very rewarding and frustrating at the same time. I am working for a non-profit organization based in Virginia and we basically help new immigrants, refugees and asylees achieve their American dreams. The organization is depending on federal and state funding to run its different programs and services. One of the most frustrating aspect of my job is working with people who have the least desire to work more than 8 hours and do more than what was written in their job description. In addition, they expect yearly salary increase. How can I help the organization?
