take 4 to 6 artichokes whole you will need parmesan and pepper jack cheese and olive oil salt and pepper and italian bread crumbs you sprinkle this over the artichokes and then stem for 15 mins they are very tasty you can try all kinds of cheese it is great but this is my best.

This sounds really similar to my Mom's recipe for stuffed artichokes. Hers uses bread crumbs, parmesan, garlic, and red pepper flakes.

The "recipe" like anything good, is subjective so proportionally it would be roughly a cup of bread crumbs, maybe half-cup total of parmesan, garlic a couple-three cloves (to suit your taste), and a teaspoon of the hot pepper flakes. This will fill more than one....

Cut off the stem end to make it FLAT on the bottom, and Mom useta cut off about a half-inch from the top leaves to make it easier to separate the leaves and get the stuffing wiggled down inside. Sit them flat in a deep pot after stuffing, drop in the stems if you like those too. Sprinkle the tops with parmesan. Drizzle lightly with EVOO. Put on the lid....

Maintain about 3/4" of water with a small amount of salt (maybe 1/2 tsp.) to steam them for about 45 minutes.
